Listen to Eric Church's song 'Why Not Me' in honor of Las Vegas victims

Country music superstar Eric Church penned a new song in honor of the victims of the Las Vegas massacre just days after the shooting left 58 people dead.

"Why Not Me" debuted during his show at the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday, just three days after the shooting.

Church also performed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Friday night.

Before his performance, he gave an emotional speech about one of the victims who died, Sonny Helton, and his wife, Heather, who survived.

"I didn't want to be here tonight. I didn't want to play guitar," Church said. "I didn't want to walk on this stage, but last night, let me try to get this out, last night somebody sent me a video of a lady named Heather Melton and she was talking to Anderson Cooper on CNN and she had on our Church Choir shirt."
