Bio Fito Olivares:

Cumbia saxophonist Fito Olivares and his band La Pura Sabrosura -- including his brothers Javier on vocals and Jaime on keyboards -- were born and raised in Ciudad Camargo, Tamaulipas; relocating to Houston, Texas in 1977, they formed the group three years later and eventually signed with the Gil Records label. Olivares enjoyed his commercial breakthrough in 1988 with the hits "La Gallina" and "Juana la Cubana. Bio Sonora Santanera:

La Sonora Santanera's leader, Carlos Colorado, belonged to a local orquesta in his hometown of Barra de Santa Ana, but it was not until he moved to Mexico City that his group, Tropical Santanera, was born. The band played private parties around the city, attracting the attention of promoter Jesús "Palillo" Martínez, who helped them get a gig at the Follies Bergere Theater. The band changed its name to La Sonora Santanera and played a mix of dance-oriented styles, earning a contract with CBS Mexico in 1960. Soon afterwards, they had their first hits, "La Boa" and "Los Aretes de la Luna."

Bio La Sonora Tropicana:

Sonora Tropicana was born in the city of Medellin, Colombia at the beginning of 1989 to the concern of forming a tropical group that could compete with the Colombians, Antillean and Central American groups similar in style and organization, but with its commercial range to the one shown previously by such groupings. Not much else is known concerning what is La Sonora Tropicana, seeing as there is no internets in the third world country they find themselves from, but it can only be assumed that with the rash of beheadings and rape-to-death occurrences they would be exposed to, that this absolutely magical band has met an untimely demise.
