Oscar De La Hoya And Wife Donate $250,000 To Help Hospital Fight COVID-19

Oscar De La Hoya and wife Millie Corretjer have donated $250,000 to Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles to help the hospital cover crisis expenses and continue to be able to provide treatment.
"Adventist Health White Memorial is mine and my family's hospital," said De La Hoya in a video tweet. "They took incredible care of my mother when she was fighting breast cancer."
"During this time of crisis, White Memorial is incurring extraordinary expenses as they continue to provide quality care to our Los Angeles community. Therefore, my family and I are donating $250,000 to White Memorial to help with these critical unexpected expenses."

De La Hoya exhorted others to donate as well. "Now, I am challenging my peers — celebrities, athletes, business leaders and community leaders — to donate to your local hospital to help during this crisis," he said. "Be a hero."
