Snoop Dogg Officially Announces Concert Collab w/Banda MS: “Dos Culturas, Una Union”

Two cultures; one stage: Snoop Dogg and Banda MS finally make it official.

The best of hip-hop and banda team up for cross-genre, cross-cultural concert, "Dos Culturas, Una Union."

After months of rumors, Snoop Dogg and Banda MS have officially announced their collaboration, "Dos Culturas, Una Union," a concert that, according to Snoop, shows how "the love of music will unite both cultures."

Snoop has long been a fan of regional music, since his school days with Jenni Rivera, and has often shared videos of himself vibing to the likes of Bukanas de Culiacan and, of course, Banda MS.

The seeds of a collab were planted in an interview Snoop gave to Televisa last October in which he affirmed his love for regional music and confirmed that he was in talks with Banda MS to record a duet.

Snoop's site hints that he and Banda MS will debut the song at the concert, which will be a one-night only event in Ontario, California this July during which Snoop and Banda MS will each play a full set of their hits.

And people are here for it.

"We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided," writes Snoop on his site. "The love for music will unite both cultures because music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable."
