'El Chapo' Set To Launch Fashion Brand From Prison
Narco legend turned fashionista
Convicted drug lord Joaquin Guzman, 61, and his wife Emma Coronel Aispuro, 29, are working together on a clothing company inspired by the couple's 7-year-old twin daughters.
Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Lopez is launching his own fashion brand from prison, where he is likely to be serving a life sentence.
The brand will be run by his 29-year-old wife and former beauty queen Emma Coronel Aispuro, who told the New York Daily News: "This project is an idea Joaquin and I have had for a long time. Before he was in the USA we talked a lot about this topic. Really, it's both of our ideas."
"Our greatest inspiration is our daughters."

Aispuro says she plans to make the brand affordable, "within everyone's reach," starting with a line of caps before moving on to jackets and other clothes. The line should be available in soon in both the U.S. and Mexico.
This is not the first time the narco kingpin has inspired fashion trends: the shirt he wore during his interview with Sean Penn and Kate del Castillo was advertised as "The World's Most Wanted Fashion Item."
