Salsa saves lives
Jeremy Taylor and his dog survived 5 days trapped in the snow with just taco sauce packets.
According to The Oregonian, 36-year-old carpenter Jeremy Taylor and his dog Ally became stuck in deep snow on Monday, February 24th.

They slept in the car and awoke the next day to even more snow. They tried to hike out, but the snow was too deep.
The pair spent the rest of the week in the snow, turning on the car periodically to keep warm and eating Taco Bell Fire Sauce packets.
Fortunately, a snowmobiler found them that Friday and they were rescued, still in good health, but very, very hungry.
Jeremy wrote on Facebook:
"Thank you everyone, I'm safe my Ally dog is safe. I really appreciate all the help. Got lucky, lets never do that again. I'll be in touch with everyone soon."
A friend jokingly commented about Jeremy eating taco sauce packets and he replied:
"Taco Bell fire sauce saves lives!"
