Elon Musk Says 'Teslaquila' Is Coming Soon
It all started when Elon Musk tweeted a picture of himself on April Fool's, supposedly "bankrupt," drunk, crying and surrounded by bottles "Teslaquila."
Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by "Teslaquilla" bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 1, 2018
This is not a forward-looking statement, because, obviously, what's the point?

Haha, April Fool's, I'm still rich. Yes, it was very funny.
But now, it looks like Musk is actually planning on producing his own brand of namesake tequila.
Tesla had filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark “Teslaquila.”

Musk is just one of many rich white dudes who've started their own tequila brands in recent years, like Avion, which is owned by former aviation executive Ken Austin, and Casamigos, started by George Clooney.
Even the Backstreet Boys have talked about starting their own tequila label, so I guess we have that to look forward to...
